CO2 SOURCES
• Anthropogenic CO2 sources : power stations, smelters, cars (SEQ 7.4 x 106 tons 1990) and cement manufacture. Biomass changes also make significant inputs.
• If all the coal were burnt it would increase
the [CO2] to 2000ppm (current 380 ppm) and this would bring the temperature up by 6oC.
• The major coal
