SOIL SAMPLING

Soil Monitoring Regime:
< 5 Ha 10 sampling locations with samples collected at each change in soil horizon or every 0.5m to a total depth of 1m below the proposed development depth or 2m below the surface (whichever is greater).

Soil
samples: (1kg) collect with clean auger
(> 5cm to ensure representative samples).

Sediments: dredged with care to collect fines containing clays, silts(pyritic).
Stored in sealed plastic containers, chilled, in the lab within 24 hrs of collection.
