CLASSES OF REACTIONS
Types of aqueous chemical reactions
 (1) Exchange (Metathesis) Reactions
      Metathesis reactions involve
a) no transfer of electrons
    (no change in oxidation no.)
       b) exchange (or combination) of ions.

Three types of driving force exist for metathesis reactions. These driving forces remove ions, atoms or molecules from solution.
